Students working to restore Potter Lake
The Potter Lake Project is a student-led initiative that was started last year as a platform by the student coalition ConnectKU. The problems with the historic landmark stem from excess vegetation and run-off water that adds sediments and nutrients to the pond. University to belong to YouTube EDU project
YouTube EDU is a project to put all college and university channels together in one place. Anyone in the world can have a YouTube channel and this initiative would make it easier for browsers to find content. There are currently more than 100 schools involved in the program. The University of Kansas launched its YouTube channel last fall with the University's new TV ad. There are now over 60 videos on the channel.
