Stumble It!The fire department received a call about the fire around 11 a.m. to Mobile Lodge at 619 Whitfield. Trucks arrived and had the fire under control within an hour.
The fire was almost completely put out by 1 p.m., but not before gutting the house. No one was injured in the fire, but it left the occupants temporarily without a home.
The owner of Mobile Lodge said she might offer the occupants use of a vacant trailer. Firefighters said they were waiting on investigators at the scene before releasing a possible cause of the fire.
