High school athletes from across the country attended the Kansas Relays Friday at Memorial Stadium. The Department of Admissions took advantage of the event to recruit for the University.

The visitor's center set up a booth outside the stadium to inform athletes and their families about the University. They also offered tours of the campus.

Office of Admissions graduate assistant Summer Eglinski said the relays were a great opportunity to present the University to out-of-state students.

"It gives us the University of Kansas a chance to show off our campus and show off our facilities to athletes from all over the country," Eglinski said.

The visitor's center booth will be around for the weekend to provide information about the University. It is stationed near the KU store and Adidas tent on the east side of the stadium at the south end.
