The AIDS awareness group "15 Seconds" is working with Watkins Health Center for free testing on Wescoe Beach Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
The free testing will be done in private and will be administered by a mouth swab. Organizers said the results should be available within two weeks. The group will also be handing out safe sex packets.
Ajani Jackson, "15 seconds" treasurer, said he hopes to raise awareness as to what habits increase the risks of contracting AIDS.
"We're here to help people realize what they may be doing wrong," Jackson said.
Cody Charles, "15 seconds" advisor said people need to realize that AIDS can affect everyone.
"I think the faces of AIDS is changing," Charles said. "I think people are perceiving it's not catchable."
The group hopes everyone will wear red this week in support of AIDS awareness.
