The University of Kansas men's basketball team (28-3, 13-3) will face the University of Nebraska (19-11, 7-9) in the second round of the Big 12 Conference Tournament.

Kansas has already faced Nebraska twice this year in the Big 12 Conference regular season. On January 12, the Jayhawks defeated the Huskers 79-58. In their second meeting Kansas won by 35 points at Allen Fieldhouse.

Nebraska defeated Missouri, 61-56, on Thursday to advance to the second round. Aleks Maric, NU senior, led the Huskers with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Maric leads Nebraska's scoring and rebounding effort with 16.1 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game.
