Looking to extend its season to the NCAA Championships in two weeks, the University of Kansas rowing team returns to action this weekend for the South-Central Regional Regatta in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Competition takes place May 12 and 13.

The Jayhawks will compete in five events beginning Saturday morning with the first novice
eight heats.

KU faces off against notable schools including Notre Dame, Texas, and Kansas State. Most recently, the Jayhawks finished in second place at the Big 12 Invitational in Kansas City, Kan.

Regional finals will be held at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
